At Swim the Lakes we’ve been swimming the rivers, lakes and tarns of the Lake District since we were kids and we’d love to introduce you to our world. We swim for the sheer love of it, we do it safely, and we leave only ripples behind and we’d love you to come and join us on our wild swimming sessions at this year’s Learnfest – this kind of swimming is too good not to share.

Just bring a swimming costume or shorts and we’ll provide the rest. The shallow bay on Windermere right on our doorstep here at Learnfest is the perfect place to introduce you to outdoor swimming: we have the lovely views over to the Coniston fells and Great Langdale, excellent water quality and some fun company to show you the ropes and give you some useful tips. These swimming sessions always go down well at Learnfest so please book early to avoid missing out on a real Lake District experience.
